Jewish Life

Jewish life at camp combines Jewish values, knowledge, traditions and actions throughout our daily lives. This begins in the morning with our Hebrew/Jewish words or phrases of the day as well as raising the Israeli flag alongside the American flag, and winds its way through our meals where we all sing the Hamotzi together, and culminates in our preparation for Shabbat festivities, for which all ages come together.

In living our values, we devote significant time to Social action projects and Mitzvah Mondays. Our camper groups head off camp to volunteer at local organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, and the PA Center for the Aging. We get our hands dirty by building lasting projects on camp that adds to our beauty and culture (we love our herb garden!). And each Monday we focus on “doing it yourself for someone else!” Stay tuned for new Jewish innovations in Arts & Crafts, Shabbat, Israel experience, and personal growth . . . all coming summer of 2019!
